As we continue to manage all the things that life has thrown at us in 2020 it is hard not to think how much more challenging it is for our friends in Uganda. Despite the lock-downs, that are much more intense than ours, I still find them to be full of joy and hope and as always finding ways to prosper. Whether it is sending nurses and doctors into the community to visit patients that can not travel or Marjorie checking in individually on her students who are studying at home, they always make a way. If you are curious what is happening at KIDA here is a link (https://www.kidauganda.org/disease-control.html) that shows how they are affected and how KIDA Hospital has prepared and continues to prepare for this.
Please continue to pray for them. p.s. Stay posted for exciting news about this fall’s Green and Yellow festival!! Pictured: Nurses caring for patients at the Hospital, Social distance basket making at KIDA, Lucky receives her school materials to continue at-home learning.
