About the Ministry Catalysts
The Ministry Catalysts lead the 40+ programs and groups at St. John’s, which are organized into
eight ministry areas. Each “Min-Cat” leads one of these areas, contributing their passion,
expertise, enthusiasm, and understanding of the culture at St. John’s.
The Min-Cats meet monthly, along with representatives of the Vestry and Staff, to discuss
current activities and issues. The Min-Cats are vital links between the leaders and groups
throughout St. John’s, facilitating coordination, collaboration, communication, and connection,
so that the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts.
