Small Group Building Blocks
Join a small group to explore your life journey with others and help build the shape and purpose of the church in the world. We like to say putting building ourselves in relationship, knowledge and spirit one brick at a time. Periodically throughout the year we have a variety of topics for people to come together and discuss for several weeks as they get to know one another.

Chancel Choir
Music has always been an important part of St. John’s. Led by our Minister of Music, Dr. Ben Riggs, choristers learn and perform music from a wide range of genres -- from classical to contemporary and from traditional hymns to African spirituals – enhancing the spiritual experience of those who sing and those who listen.
Adult Chancel Choir: Rehearsals on Thursdays, 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Adults learn and perform a rich variety of music from early September to mid-June, most of it in four-parts. Amateurs join professionals and semi-professionals in this group, singing at the 10:00 am Sunday service every week. Rehearsals include vocal warm-ups, learning parts and new music weekly. All are welcome to join Thursday evening rehearsals to see what the group is like.
Summer Choir: Choristers and music lovers of all ages are invited to participate during the summer months. Singers meet Sundays at 9:00 a.m. to rehearse the anthem, Psalm, hymns and service music. Following rehearsal, they sing in the 10:00 a.m. service. Summer choir begins in June.
Musical Instruments: STJ Miller-Stout Organ (1984) and 5’11” Baldwin Grand Piano
