Youth
St. John’s has programs for youth of all ages from infants to high school seniors. Nurturing spirituality and values by belonging to a community that learns together, serves together, prays together, and has fun together helps develop youth into healthier, happier adults.
Did you know? Results from a 2018 study out of Harvard found that children and teens raised with religious or spiritual practices have better physical and mental health as they age. They have greater resilience and empathy and greater life satisfaction and well-being.
Youth activities at St. John’s are developmentally appropriate and designed to help children and teens develop faith and become an active force for good in the world. From toddlers in the nursery practicing their sharing skills to confirmation candidates honing their critical thinking skills, all are engaged in an interactive, values-based program and supported by a community committed to our youth’s religious and spiritual growth.
Adults
St. John’s has programs for adults including education forums on Sunday mornings, small group discussions during the week, and our popular chancel choir group that sings at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service.
