Don't Do nothing, And don't do it alone
During the first meeting held at St. John's about responding faithfully to ICE in our neighborhoods and rising authoritarian movements, the group gathered agreed that while the way each of us is able to meet this moment may look different, we can all make the following commitment: Don't Do Nothing, and Don't Do it Alone. Some people might call their representatives, some might write postcards, some might protest, some might hold vigils, some might boycott or buycott, some might commit to regular prayer, some might become legal advocates, some might accompany, some might make music, some might organize and provide mutual aid. The list goes on and on. However you respond, it's important to resist isolation and do so with a sense of community.
YOU are invited to join us here! Below you will find some of our upcoming opportunities to resist isolation and authoritarian movements. Questions? Email [email protected].

There will be a Zoom prep meeting on February 15 at 6 p.m. (you will receive a link when you RSVP). If you cannot make it, a recording will be available.
