Picture
Join us as Supervisor Nikki Fortunato Bas fulfills her commitment to Genesis to ride the bus. Our objectives for this event:
  • Invite all residents and elected officials to experience a transit ride.
  • Hear stories of people who depend on public transit.
  • During both the transit ride & phone-a-thon, invite everyone to commit or recommit to public transit, one of the best climate change strategies we have.

HEADS UP! A few details have changed, please read:
Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, valued Genesis Ally, is not available for the final part of our event. We apologize that we will not have a way for people to Zoom in to participate in the day. There will NOT be a hybrid portion of our event.

REVISED agenda for the Transit Ride Along with Sup. Bas:
  • 12:45 pm: Gather at St. Augustine Episcopal Church (521 29th Street, Oakland — near 29th and Telegraph)
  • 1:10 pm: Ride Bus #6 with Supervisor Bas
  • 1:45 pm: Arrive at Downtown Berkeley (Oxford and Center)
  • 1:55 pm: Final words at the grassy area at Oxford and Center
  • 2:00 pm: Genesis team will give information ("canvas") to Transit Riders
