Youth Group

SUNDAYS with SPONGEBOB: 10:00 - 10:45 am: 7th through 12th graders will meet together in the Vestry Room. All CnC youth must attend at least three times per month. View a cartoon then we talk about the seven deadly sins and the fruits of the sprit and where the cartoon characters fall in to either of these two categories.

FIRST SUNDAYS of the month, we will all sit together in our reserved pews for the entire 10:45 a.m. service. We will respect the service and those around us.

YOUTH GROUP

  • Meets at St. John's on Sunday evenings unless otherwise noted.
  • Most meetings run from 6:00-8:00 p.m. or 6:30-8:00 p.m. Check each week.
  • Parents - please pick your youth up on time.

PIZZA CLUB meets the 1st Tuesday each month from 6-7pm unless otherwise noted. All children grades 3-6 are welcome. Please bring $5 per meeting for pizza. Download the Winter-Spring 2011 Pizza Club Schedule.

YOUTH VOICES

  • VESTRY Do you want to be an active member of the church Vestry? They function as a Board of Directors. You would help guide our church into the future, and they really need a youth voice! The Vestry meets the 3rd Monday of each month. Let Kellor know if you're interested.
  • YOUTH CHOIR is open to all youth 1st through 12th grade - music and skits. See the Youth Choir page for details.

YOUTH ACTION!

  • ACOLYTES Needed to participate at the 9:00 a.m. or 10/10:45 a.m. once a month.
  • USHERS Needed once a month at the 10/10:45 a.m. service.
  • WEBSITE We need a youth person to keep the Youth Page of St. John's website up-to-date.
  • Let Kellor know if you're interested in volunteering.

Being a member of St. John's is about giving back to our own community as well as helping the world. So please take part in giving back to St. John's. This counts as community service hours for school! Let me know what you are interested in and where you'd like to volunteer this year. I'll connect you to the right person.
