Welcome to St. John’s!!
I remember years ago attending a church that welcomed me profusely. Yet somehow I did not feel truly welcome because I did not have the information I needed to help me know what was going on in the church and how I might connect with the activities that were of interest to me. Our hope is that this website will deepen the invitation and the welcome we truly wish to extend to everyone who attends St. John’s; not only newcomers, but also those who have been here for some time and are still learning about all the ministry opportunities at St. John’s. We hope that this information empowers you to discern opportunities to explore as you seek to discover what role you would like to play in this community and beyond. I especially want to thank all of those who have made this guide possible, in particular, Katherine Schaffer, Karen McGuinn and Laurie Bennett. I also want to thank the Vestry members and all the ministry chairs for their desire that we be a welcoming community in every way possible.

On behalf of the staff I would like to express my excitement and gratitude that your journey has brought you to this loving and very active faith community. We are excited you are here and hope that this information will deepen the adventure you started when you walked through the doors.
